Ever since I saw Kim Kardashian-West wore this trend late last year, I’ve been obsessed! I’ve always been a fan of Keeping Up The Kardashians and I saw her wearing this velvet choker on the show while she was still pregnant with Saint. Later on, more and more of my favourite celebrities wore the trend as seen on social media accounts.
If you have been following me on Instagram @sheiladytiu then you have probably seen me wearing this trend since January 29, 2016 in Manila. (Don’t you just love this new update on Instagram, seeing the exact date rather than how many weeks posted before.) Here are few of my Instagram OOTDs wearing the choker trend.
I normally layer my choker with a simple necklace like the little cross pendant in a very thin gold chain necklace I am wearing on my OOTDs. Feel free to experiment on layering. Just be sure to edit your accessories before heading out. Wearing the choker alone is already a big fashion statement, so remember, less is more.
