Travel Diary: Bohol

DSCF3648

My first Bohol travel experience was nothing but fun and amazing. Too bad hubbybooboo wasn’t able to come along on this trip but my best friends took good care of me and we had such an incredible time.

The last time I took the fast craft was like 18years ago back in college when I use to travel from Surigao to Cebu. So much has changed, the terminal is now bigger and better than before. Our trip actually got delayed for an hour. Cebu to Bohol is a 2 hours fast craft ride and it was already lunch time when we arrived in Bohol.

First stop is Bohol Bee Farm, the place is huge, they grew their own organic farm and honey. The also have rooms for your hotel accommodations, a shop for some delicacies, organic honey, organic soaps and many more (sorry the photos I took of the shop were all blurry). I was so excited to try the Organic Garden Salad from their restaurant, it has edible indigenous flowers on it.

Disappointed that the avocado ice cream was not available that day. So I tried the buko ice cream instead, it was perfect to beat off the heat that day.

Second stop, checking in at The Bellevue Resort Bohol. Ah, what I can say about this hotel, but great service, beautiful room, super nice bed, good food, and most of all I love the exclusivity of the beach. I love how relax and chill the ambiance is. Will definitely go back here. DSCF4475DSCF4478DSCF3751DSCF3766DSCF3769

Third stop, Man Made Forest in Bilar, Bohol. We took a short stop here on the way to Chocolate Hills. It’s amazing to see all the trees, I felt like I was on the set of Twilight. It was an hour drive from Bellevue. DSCF4484DSCF4510

Last stop, Chocolate Hills. My friends and I decided to take the ATV ride in going to Chocolate Hills instead of taking the the 222 steps going up the viewing deck where the place can get a little crowded. And I’m glad we took that route since we had a lot fun riding the ATV and actually had a closer view of the Chocolate Hills.

Behind us is the Three Sisters Chocolate Hills. Will post a separate blog post about our ATV ride. So stay tuned!

This was actually a first for the three of us to travel together, and hopefully it would’t be the last of The Charmed Ones (Antong, Goodjay & Sheila) travels. Where are we heading next loves?

As for Bohol, I’ll definitely see you again soon! You were great! Next up is my Bohol OOTDs.

Don’t forget to join my Blog Giveaway: Donut Floaty.

Happy Sunday guys!
