Beauty Haul + Review: Tarte Cosmetics

I have been a fan of Tarte Cosmetics when I found out about this brand 3 years ago over the internet. But so sad that it is not available in the Philippines. What I deeply love about Tarte is that it’s a cruelty free cosmetics.

All of their products are formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, triclosan, synthetic fragrances and gluten, just to name a few. Ever since I started caring about the kind of products I use on my skin, I always check the ingredients. Specially since I am allergic to fragrance. I see to it that there are no synthetic fragrances on the products that I buy or else I will end up really sick. Remember the previous blog about  Bath and Skin Care Products I Swear By, well, I posted there the list of harmful chemicals to avoid. It is really quite a challenge to find products without atleast five of the harmful chemicals in it but I will feel safe that somehow I have lessen if not eliminate the chemical intake on my skin.

So when my sister went to the United States two years ago, I ask her to buy me a couple of Tarte cosmetics and I also bought a few when I went to Singapore last year since they have Sephora there. I hope Sephora Philippines will eventually be carrying Tarte cosmetics very soon so it will be easier for us to buy their cruelty products. But thanks to families abroad who does shopping for us easier that I got my hands on these new Tarte cosmetics.

Tarteist Contour Palette is by far the best contour palette I’ve ever tried. If you can just smell it by looking at the photos then you probably wanna eat it since they smell like chocolate. I love the gold packaging too, it’s so pretty don’t you think?

Tarteist Limited Edition Sculpt and Contour Brush is so fluffy and soft and I love it. It so easy to use.

Tarte colored clay CC Undereye Corrector works like wonders to the dark circles under my eyes. Out of all the corrector and concealers I’ve tried this is the best so far! I totally recommend this.

Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Pressed Setting Powder just keep you looking fresh all day. I use this over my BB cream and/or foundation. It sets my makeup silky smooth for a flawless look all day. Maybe the only thing bad I can say about this pressed powder is that it’s very powdery like it’s almost a loose powder when you use the brush on it. Kinda messy when you are wearing dark colored clothing coz you’re gonna get dusty white or kinda flaky. But other than that I love how this powder sets on my skin!

So that’s it guys! My honest review on these Tarte cosmetics that I got 4 weeks ago. I just love to share products that really works and and are cruelty free.

Much Love,

Sheila 💗
