Beauty Haul + Review: Korean Cosmetics and Face Masks

Myeong-dong is one of the primary shopping districts in Seoul. Many brand name shops and department stores line the streets and alleys. Common products for sale include clothes, shoes, and accessories. Unlike Dongdaemun, many designer brands are sold in Myeong-dong. In addition, several major department stores include Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, Myeong-dong Migliore, Noon Square and M Plaza. The department stores carry many premium labels and other fashionable goods at reasonable prices.

But most of all, you can find tons of Korean cosmetics in Myeongdong. It’s like you’re in make-up haven. There are so many Korean beauty brands anywhere you look. Koreans are known for their fair and beautiful skin and so you can’t help but be tempted to buy all the Korean cosmetics there is, specially with its’ cute packaging. So here are my shopping haul down below guys:

DSCF9255 — Hera Age Reverse Cushion in C13, is my current favorite BB cushion. It has a light coverage and goes smooth on the skin when you apply it. I have dry skin so this C13 is perfect for me. Bought this one at Lotte Department store, they lady said that this brand is the high end version of their sister company Innisfree.

DSCF9251 — Too Cool For School brand has the cutest packaging out of all the cosmetics I bought. I mean look how cute the blush ons are, it has an puff at the bottom of the container then the it has a mirror on top where the blush is when you open it. Too cute! This brand is also available at selected SM Department stores here in the Philippines.

DSCF9250 — I’m obsessed with this Missha Browcara in their lightest color coz it perfectly matches my new hair color. I love how subtle it is on my brows, that’s why I bought 3 pieces!

DSCF9256 — Too Cool For School eye shadow mini palette is my new travel eyeshadow palette. I love the light rose gold tone and dark brown color. Perfect for everyday look plus the size goes perfect inside my make-up pouch.

DSCF9253 — Restocked on my favorite eye liner from Innisfree, I find the brush liner easier to use than the pen liner though. I think I need more of the brush liner now.

DSCF9254 — Also restocked on this Lip and Eye make-up remover. It’s very gentle on my skin and the scent is also very mild.

DSCF9247 — So this was a must have when we were in Seoul. It was summer time and what perfect way to re-apply sunblock with an all sun spray from Tony Moly, basically hands-free. Tony Moly is actually available in selected SM department stores in the Philippines but not sure if they carry this particular sunblock.

DSCF9262 — So ok, when I saw the big signage outside Missha Store where a minion was on it, my eyes was glued. Hurried myself inside and bought this limited edition BB cushion of the minions. I haven’t tried this one out since I’m saving it. I love the minions! hahahah!

DSCF9248 — How fun is this face mask? It actually has a print on it the same as the print on the box, unlike the boring plain white facial masks that’s common in the market. I actually got this 4 boxes (10pcs. on each box) at the airport. These masks are for moisturizing and revitalizing skin. I love fun printed masks like this one and the box just calls my name since it’s pink. If you followed me on Snapchat and on my Instagram stories then you have seen me used these masks.

DSCF9271 — Another cute fun print masks is from Royal Skin. Cute animal-character mask sheet for moist and vitalized skin. Follow me on Snapchat( sheiladytiu) to see how these masks looks like when worn. It’s so cute you don’t need a Snapchat filter.

DSCF9258 — And from my favorite brand, Innisfree are these above. They even have foot mask and so many other mask you can think of. I actually love this foot mask, I tried it when I came home from korea and it really moisturizing my feet. I should have bought more of these to last a month. heheh!

DSCF9259 — Of course I have to buy this loofah just because Hello Kitty is on it. Got this one from Hello Kitty Island store in N Seoul Tower.

DSCF9261 — Freebies!!! Did you know that Korean cosmetic shops gives you free samples every time you purchase from them? These are just few of the free samples I’ve got since I have given away some to my family and friends. These samples are perfect for travel since it’s good for one time use.
