Staycation: Watergate Hotel Butuan (Part 1)

So happy to share with you guys, specially to my fellow Butuanons that there is a new boutique hotel opening right in the heart of Butuan City. Watergate Hotel Butuan opens it’s doors to the public for their soft opening tomorrow, Tuesday, September  20th 2016.

Me and my hubby, Ryan, were one of the first invited guests to stay at the hotel and get to experience this amazing new place and was welcome warmly by the owner and staff. If you have been following me on snapchat (sheiladytiu) then you already had a sneak peek during my stay a week ago.

We were accommodated at their beautiful suite room complete with a kitchen, dining area, a mini living room and of course the bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and a bathroom with shower and tub. And the amazing part of our room was the private access to the pool area. The pool was like all ours for practically two days. That just means more photo opt for me, which will be part 2 of my next staycation post. So stay tuned for that. For now I’m gonna give you a tour of the hotel and our suite room.

All 54 rooms are equipped with the keyless entry system.

And this is our suite room that we get to enjoy for the weekend.

This place has the ambiance of a five star resort. Two thumbs up for the overall design of this boutique hotel. Truly the first of it’s kind in Butuan City.
