Like most bloggers, Instagram has been a part of my daily life. It is practically the first thing I check in the morning and the last thing I check before I go to bed. When I started my blog this year, I tried to make an effort to make my grid or feed look pretty neat. And so I started curating the photos I post on a daily basis since my account is already in public. Most of the time I post a day behind the actual happenings during the day and coz I don’t want to flood my followers feed and I don’t want to annoy you guys and also for safety reasons, I mean I am not famous and all but I really don’t wanna tell the world where exactly I am at that exact time of the day, not unless it’s a public event where you should really be for that day of course.
Behind every post, there is always a story to it. I may be posting a pretty flatlay today and tomorrow an #ootd photo but in real time, I am actually stuck in bed PMSing, or having a tummy flu, or my crazy allergies is acting up so bad again or having a high fever and very sick to do anything. Or sometimes you just really are having a bad day, I mean we all do right, we are just human after all. But of course I don’t want to pull down my followers and make them sad as well. Trust me, I have battled my own depressions but I got through it because I have a husband and family and close friends (you know who you are, I love you and Thank you!) who are always there for me.
It is important to surround yourself with positive people and loved ones when you are feeling down. And always remind yourself that you are so blessed in so many ways more than you know. Just to wake every morning is a blessing already. Do not dwell on the things that you don’t have but rather count your blessing to the things that you already have, just being able to breathe and be healthy, having a home, having a family, being able to eat daily are the simple things coz there is always someone somewhere out there who doesn’t have a home, doesn’t have anything to eat or worst, battling every single day of a disease just to live for another day.
Happiness is choice. So I choose to be happy. Stop whining, stop complaining, stop being negative. Be positive. Tell your family, friends and loved ones, “THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU”. Life is so beautiful, enjoy every single day.
To all my followers, let me take this chance to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Just a simple interaction on my blog or Instagram with you, be it a like, a comment or simply just by following me has given me inspiration to do what I love and go through my day with a smile on my face. So THANK YOU! And I hope you that I also inspire you guys somehow. 😘😘😘
