Closet Bazaar For A Cause Year 3

It’s almost Christmas and it is time to give back once again this year. Every year, it has been a tradition for me, my sister and sister-in-law to hold a Garage Sale For A Cause and donate part of the proceeds to charity. I think we have done it for the past 6 years already but it was just two years ago that we invited our friends and the public to join us and so Closet Bazaar For A Cause was born, organized by yours truly.

So this year, I am yet again organizing our third year this coming December 1o, 2016 at Sunflower Function Hall, Capitol Drive, Butuan City. Tickets at p25.00 in which 100% of total ticket sale goes to charity as well. Our beneficiary this year are the children with disabilities of selected Barangays in Butuan City. A food feeding and gift giving program will be organize for these children this Christmas.

What to find at the bazaar you ask? Expect a lot of womens clothing, shoes and accessories from brands like Zara, Topshop, Forever21, H&M and many more. We also have mens and kids apparel as well, both pre-loved and some are still brand new with tag and never been worn.

I mean are you also of guilty like me of having clothes in the closet with the tag still on and you still haven’t worn it after 3 months? Or you have actually forgotten you ever bought that shirt. And don’t you wanna empty out some closet space and at the same time doing it for a good cause.

And keep in mind that you will be shopping for cause. Shopping has never been this rewarding.

Our beneficiary last year were the admitted children at Butuan Medical Center. A total of 55 gift toys and sanitary and snack kit were given out to each child.

It melts my heart seeing the smile on these children faces when they received their gifts and kits.

Our beneficiary the other year were the children at Balay Silonganan (home for the abandoned children). Each kid received individual toys, the teens received school bags, and the home received grocery items, medicines and we also had a little celebration by having games and snacks at their home.

Inviting all my Butuan readers to please come to the bazaar and shop for a cause. Bring your whole family and friends. And together we can raise funds to give smile and happiness to the children with disabilities this Christmas! Hope to see you on Saturday, I’ll be there the whole day from 10:00AM to 8:00PM!
