Well it’s about time I blog about my hometowns hole in the wall. Although there are already many food franchises that invaded Butuan food scene. I’d love to stick to my favorite local restaurants that has been in business for over three years already and I would proudly say, you can only experience it in Butuan City. I’m not a food expert and critic mind you, but I just wanna share the top 3 favorite restaurants where me and my hubby usually dine in or take out food in a weekly basis that I am sure, Butuan visitors would love as well.
1. Jucha Juice Bar
If you are looking for some healthy eats and drinks then this is the place for you. They serve a wide array of vegetarian and organic food and freshly squeezed juices. I usually order their Qui-green Salad as my afternoon snack almost everyday at the office. Their Shawarma is so deliciously, taste like the real thing but guilt free since is mostly veggies and tuna.

Location: Imadejas Triangle J.C. Aquino Ave cor I. Elloso St., Butuan City or call Telephone number (085)815-0596 (fully airconditioned restaurant or enjoy the balcony view outside)
2. Boy’s Asian Homecooking
Definitely a favorite dinner date place with my hubby. They have a wide range of filipino and asian cuisine. My favorite here is their Pomelo salad, Siomai (the best in town for me), and their California Maki, while hubby’s favorite is their Crispy Tadyang. A must visit whenever in Butuan. And of course, you can’t leave town without trying their desserts from Margie’s Kitchen. My favorite is the Tiramisu, Profiteroles and Cookie Monster.

Location: J.Rosales St., Butuan City (at the back of DBP), Telephone number: (085) 341-2697 (fully airconditioned dining restaurant)
3. Lutong Bahay ni Aling Cora
I grew up eating to their food. Their “inato” style chicken barbeque are one of the best in town. Another favorite is their Sizzling Squid and Kinilaw. If you are into barbeques and grill, then this place is for you.

Location: J.C. Aquino Avenue (near Robinsons Mall, across Jollibee Estacio), Telephone number: (085) 342-1333 (They have a fully airconditioned dining area inside)
Now who’s hungry? Hahahah! I think I will order myself a salad from Jucha right now, so happy eating guys! Next time, I’ll blog about the newest cafes and restaurants in Butuan that you must try. So stay tuned. Thanks for reading! #sheilovestoeat

When I lived in the US I used to hang out with a couple of Filipino guys but I never got to try any food though, still looks delicious! 🙂
Whoa! What a small world it is. I guess it is really quite possible for us to meet someday in the future, and if that happens. We sure do have a lot to share and food is just one of them. 💗🤗
