Sheiloves Giving Back: Closet Bazaar For A Cause Year 3

That genuine happiness you feel when you see someone smile just because you made them feel special even just for one day. Finally I get to blog about last years Closet Bazaar For A Cause (Year3). Last December 10, 2016, I hold a fund raising bazaar where in I gathered family and friends to sell both pre-loved and brand new clothing and accessories in order to raise funds for charity. Our chosen beneficiary last year were the children with disabilities from selected barangays in Butuan City.

BAZAAR EVENT: It was a one day bazaar held at Sunflower Bistro Function Hall in Capitol Drive, Butuan City and this is what I wore. I pretty much got busy during the event and the only time I was able to take photos is when the time the place wasn’t that crowded. If you missed the bazaar last time then be sure not to miss it this year (probably still Christmas time or follow us on Instagram @closetbazaarbxu for updates).  You will really be surprise to find a lot of good and affordable items that you can find only at our bazaar. Branded clothing from Zara, Topshop to name a few where prices ranges from p50 to 500 pesos. Accessories for as low as p5 to 20pesos. We also had a lot authentic brand new cosmetics and bags this time from our new concessionaires. We had clothes , shoes, accessories for men, women and children too, it’s like a one stop shop. Shopping has never been so rewarding at Closet Bazaar for A Cause coz you know you are shopping for charity. Don’t miss out next year okay?

Thank you to all our shoppers and to all my friends and family and to everyone who bought tickets in support of my fund raising event. From the bottom of my heart thank you all!

CHARITY EVENT: Now the fun part begins! I Shop for toys and snacks for 110 kids with disabilities. And boy it was so hard to shop since kids were ages 1 to 13, females and males. I think it took about 3 hours to shop. I also did some groceries for the snack kit. Thank you to my in-laws who help me pack all gift packs. We segregated the gift packs according to gender, age and barangay so it was easier to distribute.

This blind girl was so sweet and shy. Her mom wanted to have a photo with me and I was very happy to meet her. (sorry for the no make up face)

I coordinated with the CSWD of Butuan and they were kind enough have my grant my request to gather atleast 100 children with disabilities for a little gift and food feeding held last December 29, 2016. I prepared food for everyone, chicken, spaghetti, bread, pork buns and juices. I also use a reusable plate so they can bring it home too (no trash and no left over, yahoo). Most of the kids has autism.

Thank you to my office staff and helper who accompanied me and to Rex Montederamos, who is one of our concessionaires for the past 3 years, who join us for the gift giving.
