That 70’s Vibe

Channeling my inner Farrah Fawcett minus the hair. I think high-waisted denim flares never died with Farrah. My mom sometimes asks me about my #OOTDs “Is that trend coming back again?” referring to the flared and bell bottom denims, off-shoulder tops, high waistlines and skinny jeans. Our parents can clearly identify the styling wave with a nostalgic point of view as daughters walk out of the house wearing familiar leggings or wide belts. If only my mom kept some of her old clothes in one treasure chest, I’d go crazy with all her pretty outfits I’ve seen from old photos. Fashion is evolutionary, certain strong trends from the past really do come back with a little modern twist.

Having said that, it is always a good idea to keep your favorite fashion pieces at one part of your closet labeled as “a keeper”, and so far I have flared jeans, leggings and bomber jackets, button down shirts and quite a few other pieces I just can’t let go of. Fashion does recycles, clearly.

So guys, make sure to think twice before getting rid of your old clothes next time. Happy Chinese New Year to all by the way.

Much Love,
