How To Update Your Old Dress

Need a new outfit for your Valentine’s date but low on cash. Then I just might have the thing to fix that. Go to your closet and pick out your favorite old dress and we will transform it into a new piece of ensemble just by adding another piece of clothing which you also have in your closet. You know how it is with us women, seen wearing the same dress on every party is such a big deal. So we just have to wait for a few couple of months before we get to wear that dress again. Well, wait no more. This might just do the trick. Simple slipping into another piece of clothing over or under the dress is just the way to do it.

Just by slipping over the dress a sweater or coat and it instantly transformed into a whole new look. You have probably seen me wore this favorite dress of mine (which was given as a gift by my best friend Antong, Thanks sis!) last year on my Birthday, here.

Wearing a button down shirt under the dress. A white button down shirt is always a staple in every wardrobe so do invest on a very crisp shirt. You can wear it in so many ways than one. Will show you how soon so do stay tuned. I’m actually planning on wearing this strapless dress again next week, we’ll see how I style this one again.

Wearing your dress as a top. Just simply slip into a skirt and voila, instant new look. Just be mindful on mixing and matching colors. Neutral and classic colors like beige, black, white, red are always the best choices.
