Who loves cookies? These cookies are so good there were even knockoffs and counterfeits sold all over Hong Kong. I grew up eating all sort of cookies. And when I found out about this famous Jenny Bakery in Hong Kong weeks before our trip, I made my research and found out they have a branch near our hotel. I got so curious about all the hype on these cookies. The long queue I saw on social media’s post got me thinking that it must be really good that it’s worth the try.
So our trip to Hong Kong last month was such a perfect timing. Bought these cookies on our last day in Hong Kong to bring the freshest cookies to our family and friends back home. We went there around nine thirty in the morning and luckily the queue was just short that we only waited for about ten minutes. And mind you, the cookies were kinda heavy as they are packed in cute bear print tin cans, so be sure to have someone with you if you intend to buy more than five cans.
And guys, please be careful not to be deceived by the tin can cookies with bear prints sold in many shops along the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui and elsewhere as these are mere counterfeits and knockoffs of the original Jenny bakery cookies. It was even sold at a higher price when I stopped by to check them out. So be sure to buy only direct from their store in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sheung Wan (read on as I will show you directions on how to find their bakery in their Tsim Sha Tsui branch).
Hows the taste?
I got the four mix butter cookies. My favorite is the Butter Flower & Coffee Flower, while hubby’s favorite is the Shortbread and Raisin Oat, how convenient right? We don’t have to argue who gets the last cookie since we are not after the same cookies.
Each cookie flavor has different texture aside from the delicious taste. It’s very crumbly and it doesn’t leave your mouth any aftertaste of the butter. I love the Butter Flower because it simply melts in your mouth on each and every bite. Truly is! I love how these butter cookies just melt in my mouth. I can’t emphasize more on how heavenly it tastes when it melts in your mouth. And I love it even more since it’s 100% natural and GMO-free. Now that’s my kind of cookie!

Look at all those cookie cans!!! I heard they usually sold out by the end of the day.
