Jenny Bakery Hong Kong: Review & Guide

Who loves cookies? These cookies are so good there were even knockoffs and counterfeits sold all over Hong Kong. I grew up eating all sort of cookies. And when I found out about this famous Jenny Bakery in Hong Kong weeks before our trip, I made my research and found out they have a branch near our hotel. I got so curios about all the hype on these cookies. The long queue I saw on social media’s post got me thinking that it must be really good that it’s worth the try.

So our trip to Hong Kong last month was such a perfect timing. Bought these cookies on our last day in Hong Kong to bring the freshest cookies to our family and friends back home. We went there around nine thirty in the morning and luckily the queue was just short that we only waited for about ten minutes.  And mind you, the cookies were kinda heavy as they are packed in cute bear print tin cans, so be sure to have someone with you if you intend to buy more than five cans.

And guys, please be carefully not to be deceived by the tin can cookies with bear prints sold in many shops along the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui and else where as these are mere counterfeits and knockoffs of the original Jenny bakery cookies. It was even sold at a higher price when I stopped by to check them out. So be sure to buy only direct from their store in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sheung Wan (read on as I will show you directions on how to find their bakery in their Tsim Sha Tsui branch).jenny bakery cookies

Hows the taste?

I got the four mix butter cookies. My favorite is the Butter Flower & Coffee Flower, while hubby’s favorite is the Shortbread and Raisin Oat, how convenient right? We don’t have to argue who gets the last cookie since we are not after the same cookies.

Each cookie flavor has different texture aside from the delicious taste. It’s very crumbly and it doesn’t leave your mouth any after taste of the butter. I love the Butter Flower because it simply melts in your mouth on each and every bite. Truly is! I love how these butter cookies just melts in my mouth. I can’t emphasized more on how heavenly it taste when it melts on your mouth. And I love it even more since it’s 100% natural and GMO free. Now that’s my kind of cookie! DSCF2117resize800resize800 DSCF2118resize800resize800 DSCF2119resize800resize800 DSCF2120resize800resize800 DSCF2121resize800resize800 DSCF2123resize800resize800 DSCF2124resize800resize800 DSCF2130resize800resize800
