Happy Blogniversary

Wow! Sheiloves just turned one! I can’t believe it has already been a year since I started this blog. First of all, a big & humongous THANK YOU to all my followers and readers. When I started out, I was really a bit hesitant at first since I already started late knowing most bloggers nowadays are still in school or in their twenties. And also thought that, will there be actually people who would read what I post? I mean, I’m just a thirty something working wife who lives in small city after all. But my husband, Ryan, and my best friends Antong and Goodjay really encouraged me into the blogging world and gave me a lot of support (Thank you so much loves, you guys are the best!). And one hundred fifty two published post later, here I am.

I have been able to embraced my passion for fashion with this blog. Ever since I was little I have always love dressing up like most girls but being in a small city like Butuan, there weren’t much choices of clothes and of course that’s way before the birth of online shopping or internet for that matter. Back then, I would always ask my parents when they travel or my brother when he studied in Manila for college to buy me a particular type of clothes even show them cut outs of pictures from magazines.

Of course growing up my fashion sense has evolved, and also got a few mishaps along the way. I remember wearing this neon green shirt in college, didn’t realized how neon it was until I was literally popping out in a crowded library and being an eye sore, I mean, what was I thinking?!?!

This blog has also become a destresser for me. After a long day at work, I just love to come home and be able to write about something that I love.  Whether it is my outfit (mostly), my beauty regimen, a new lipstick, a new bag, my cakes, my collection, and practically just about anything that I love to share with you guys.  So if you have some request or suggestion, please do drop a comment down below. I always love to hear from you.

Thank you so much to everyone who emailed me and messaged me on Facebook and on Instagram, telling me that they love my style and that I am one of their inspiration. It truly means the world to me that you appreciate what I love. Truthfully, you guys inspire me and motivates me even more to do what I do. I love you guys.

Through this blog, I have made friends with fellow bloggers around the world.  Thank you so much for all your sweet and inspiring comments. And I wish to meet you all in person one day. That would really be amazing don’t you think? And also, I have build a good relationship with a few brands who trust me with their products and my capability. Thank you so much!

Looking through the collage, I think I’ve already figured out my signature pose, can you tell? Hehehe! Well, I hope I did not bore you with this heavy write up. And just a word of advice, if you have a passion for something, just go for it and believe in yourself coz it’s never too late to do something that you really love.
