The most vibrant hangout I’ve been to in Bali is at Motel Mexicola. And no, it’s not the kind of motel in your mind but it is a Mexican restaurant and bar located in Seminyak, Bali, that serves delicious Mexican food with vegetarian and gluten free options on their menu. This is one of the restaurants I enjoyed during my Bali trip. The place is fun and has a great vibe with upbeat music played plus the fact that every little corner is very Instagram worthy …even their toilets.

Oh yes, the food was also good. We came here around 5 in the afternoon to grab some snacks coz we plan to have dinner somewhere else. We ordered their De Chorizo Quesadillas and Esquites (grilled corn with chipotle mayonnaise, cheese, sour cream & tajin) and it was both delicious.
Motel Mexicola is definitely should be on your itinerary if ever you plan to visit Bali soon. Whether it’s for afternoon snacks, dinner or late night drinks, the place looks awesome day and night. The restaurant is always full so I suggest you make a reservation online specially if you are coming in during peak hours/days.
It was just me, Antong and Jackie (Thank you for my amazing photos here Jackie) so we got a table right away but we were only given two hours to stay so good thing we didn’t plan to stay long for dinner. The moment I walked in Motel Mexicola, I just shoot at every corner while there was still daylight. I am definitely coming back here if ever I travel back to Bali.
