Metallics are definitely one of my go-to trends when dressing up for the holidays. And this metallic pleated skirt is actually an old one and you have probably seen me wearing it a couple of times already, here and here. This time I paired it with this multi-colored striped wrap top from Shein. I actually styled the wrap top lose and turn it into an off-the-shoulder top to make it dressier. I wanted to focus more on the outfit so I opt to wear my old nude pumps. For accessories, I chose this beaded clutch and pretty dangling earrings from Pinkaholic Clothing.
I love how I can wear both pieces separately and styled ins so many ways than one. The wrap top can be paired with jeans for a more casual look and the metallic skirt can be worn with a simple tee like how I styled it here. I can go on and on with the many options.
But just a little tip when wearing metallics, don’t go overboard, you can go for a metallic on metallic look only if its a matching piece, but if it’s not, I’d say pair your metallics with something muted or satin in jewel or neutral colors for a classy holiday look. I mean you wouldn’t wanna look like a Christmas tree wearing a gold metallic skirt, a silver sequins top, and red sparkly shoes, right?

It has been a rainy holiday season here in Butuan, and Thank God the typhoon wasn’t as bad as everyone had expected it. Stay safe and dry everyone. Hope you like today’s style post. Enjoy the holidays!
