Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d share a little something personal today about my love life. Sounds cheesy already right? Well, I guess we could use some cheesiness every once in a while or even for just one day in a year.
By now you have probably seen many restaurants and shops that have put up tons of heart decors all over their store like the word LOVE just screams at your face. And then tomorrow when you go out and dine, restaurants will have Valentine’s set menus for two. Now that can be pretty annoying right especially if you are eating alone or with your colleagues or friends, and not exactly on a date.
Whether you are with a special someone right now or single. I think Valentine’s day is still for everyone and not just for romance. Everyone can celebrate the love we have for our family, friends, staff, colleagues, and pets even.
Today I am actually sharing with you photos of me and my Hubby from last month during our 9th-anniversary dinner date. These photos were taken from my mobile phone and you guys can still watch some of the videos on my Highlighted IG stories #SheilovesToEat. We usually spend Valentine’s Day outside the country for the past four years but this time we decided to just stay home and do things differently.

Nine years of marriage wouldn’t be complete without a few bumps on the road. Arguments here and there, like even the tiniest and most nonsense reasons. We fight mostly about the clutter in the house. I can’t remember the last time we used our formal dining room because my husband made it into his extended storage room as if two storage rooms in our house was not enough. He has boxes full of his collections literally all over the house (my family and best friends are witnesses to this, Hahaha!) Well, it’s unfair if I will say that I don’t have any clutter in our house myself but at least mine is just in one or two corners.
Of course, there are more of those sweet and happy moments we share every single day that just blurs out most of the ugly memories we’ve had. But the truth is, it’s actually through those fights or arguments that we learn a lot from each and grow from it. I think there is no perfect relationship but you just have to work hard to make it work as long as you love each other. The patience, the trust, and the respect we have for one another equals love.
Love is such a beautiful gift. And I thank God every day for having to share this love with my husband as well as with my family and friends. I have the sweetest and loving husband ever. Never a day goes by that he won’t tell me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me even in those days when I feel like I am at my ugliest.
Well, that’s it for today guys. Thanks for reading! Happy Valentine’s Day to all! And tell someone you love them today! Spread the LOVE.
