Travel Diary: Day 3 in Tokyo (Ippudo, Ginza shopping, Tokyo Skytree & Shinjuku)

Day 3 in Tokyo and we had ramen right away for brunch. There’s Ippudo Ramen in Ginza so walked there from our Hotel for maybe like a couple of minutes, not to mention making quite a few stops as we were passing through the busy shopping streets of Ginza.

Ginza is one of Tokyo’s most sophisticated shopping district where you can find all the luxury brands like Hermes, Chanel, and Gucci to name a few. You will also find the biggest Uniqlo store in the world here in Ginza, like twelve floors of Uniqlo haven. We also went inside a few department stores, there’s Ginza Six, Tokyu Plaza, Mitsukoshi Ginza, and Matsuya Ginza.

So enough about shopping and back to Ippudo where we had brunch. There was actually a queue when we got there so had to wait for about 25minutes to be seated. So what was I supposed to do right? Of course, take my #OOTD photos at this very cute car wash beside Ippudo. The weather was still very nice that day and I choose to wear my leather jacket over this summery lace midi dress.

Outfit details: Leather jacket, lace dress, boots all from Zara. Bag from Chanel, Sunglasses from Sundays Somewhere. (Shop my look here.)

There is actually Ippudo in Manila, and it is my favorite ramen, well next to Ichiran of course. I ordered my usual favorite which is the Karaka-men, the spicy one because I love spicy (you have no idea). The taste is actually a little different though, I must say, the one in Tokyo is so much better than in Manila, I guess that understandable expected right? But I still love Ippudo in Manila. Sorry I wasn’t able to take a photo of our ramen, but I actually took videos so hopefully, I can find time to edit my videos for my vlog soon.

After our ramen, we went to the train station as we head over to Tokyo station and take the bus from there to Tokyo Skytree and it was a 35minutes bus ride. Tokyo Skytree is the world’s tallest tower at 634 meters. It is a television broadcasting tower and landmark in Tokyo.

We enjoyed the city view from the 350 meters high observatory. The place was actually packed with tourists, so it was hard to get a photo, as seen from the above pictures. We actually just stayed there for a little over an hour and then we head to Shinjuku for dinner where we spent the rest of the night.

Well, that ends day three of my Tokyo travel diary, so till my next post guys. Thank you so much for reading. That means a lot to me of you dropping by my blog today. Take care and have a great day!
