As a mom, I only want what is best for my child. Giving him comfort, care, and love. As my son’s number one caregiver, I always make sure to choose the best products in the market when it comes to his needs. And when it comes to diapers, I choose Merries.
I have been using Merries diaper since my son was 10months old. By accident really since I couldn’t find the diaper he was using before in the supermarket thus I went online shopping for diapers and came across the brand and bought it to give it a try as it is the number one diaper brand recommended by Japanese moms.
My son is now 14 months and 2 weeks old but he was exactly 12 months old when I shot these photos (and videos). He is very very active and just curious about everything and loves to discover new things every day. I want him to always feel comfortable and happy at all times, especially during playtime so it’s very important that he stays fresh and dry down there too.
Merries diaper gives him exactly the comfort that he needs. No rashes, no leakage, thus a happy baby and a happy mommy too. Merries diapers have the softest material or texture compared to the previous diapers I have tried before. The softness of it makes it gentle on the baby skin. And because my son is very active now, having a breathable design makes it an important factor when choosing a diaper. It is also highly absorbent which prevents it from leakage and keeps Riley’s skin dry and rashes free.
We all know that most products from Japan are of excellent quality and Merries is definitely one of them. Giving me more value for my money. The diaper doesn’t sag and with its breathable and snug fit waist garter keeps it in place. 
There are two types of Merries diaper available in the market today. They have the Tape type and the Pants type. We actually use both.
Merries Pants Type Diaper
For daytime and playtime, we use the pants-type because he is very active now and won’t lie down so it’s easier for me to put on the pants while he crawls or moves around. When I go to work I usually tell the nanny to change his diaper at least every 2-3hours and immediately after bowel movements just so to keep Riley clean, comfortable, and dry while playing around.
Merries Tape Type Diaper
During bedtime, we use the tape type so it’s easier for me to change the diaper when he is still asleep or just lying in bed. And I have no problem with leakage so far but I usually schedule a diaper change in the middle of the night just so he feels more comfortable sleeping with a non-fully soaked or soiled diaper. His bedtime is at 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM he has a fresh new diaper at that time so at 12:00 midnight to 1:00 AM I change his diaper then that will last him until he wakes up at 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Price wise, it is a little bit expensive compared to other brands out in the market today. But I believe that good quality products don’t come cheap, and cheap products aren’t that good. As I’ve mentioned earlier, I only want to use the best products in the market for my son and Merries diaper is just one of them.
