Our beneficiary for this year’s Closet Bazaar For A Cause is the Hearts For Paws Butuan City, a non-profit organization and a group of volunteers who cares and give so much love to our furry friends. Last Saturday, my sister Stephanie and I had the chance to meet the head and members of the organization, Mr. Abner Pelenio, Ms. Angeli and Ms. Maryrose. They showed us where the new location for their planned new shelter for the dogs.They also accompanied us to the Butuan City Dog pound where they are the number caregiver of the dogs there.
It was actually our first time to visit the dog pound here in the city and we learn so much about the history through sir Abner. Hearts For Paws has only been organized for over two years and if it wasn’t for their efforts the dog pound in Butuan wouldn’t be where it is today. The dogs are in better care right now compared to before.
